How to fix awnings to Hebal wall?

Hi

I am looking for some advice to fix 5m x 3m folding arm awning to Hebal wall. What types of bolts etc should be used.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @MN1974. It's fantastic to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about fixing into Hebel walls.

Here's the guide from Hebel on how to secure to your Hebel walls.

The holes for your fittings can be drilled with a masonry drill bit. The drill must be run in non-hammer-function mode. 

It's suggested to use Ramset 8 x 40mm Anchor RamPlugs and Buildex 14 - 10 x 50mm Climaseal Hex Head With Seal Timber Screws or, if the awning arms mounting holes allow, the Ramset 12 x 60mm Anchor RamPlugs and Zenith M8 x 50mm Hot Dipped Galvanised Coach Screws.

An exterior sealant must be used around the holes to prevent water from entering the wall.

Remember your PPE, including a face mask, safety glasses and gloves. Also, since you'll likely be working at height, have a read through this helpful guide on How to use ladders safely.
