To fix the broken drain pipe, the damaged portion will need to be cut out and replaced. You can use connectors and a new length of pipe in the correct size to restore the flow, but it’s important to note that this type of work is considered drainage and plumbing. As such, it requires a licensed plumber to carry out the repair to ensure it’s done correctly and meets local regulations.
