How to fix cracked fibre cement outdoor table?

Hi there!

I have a beautiful outdoor table that has cracked, even though it’s been under a pergola and cover. The product description states it’s made of light weight fibre cement, with stones - quartz, marble and granite. I’m hoping there’s a way we can restore it, as we’re moving and it will be living out of the sun now. I have added a couple of photos. The cracks are raised. Thank you!

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @kirstyreid. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about repairing a stone table.

As this is a specialised product, the manufacturer would be the best place to find information on whether it can be repaired. I have concerns that if it's cracked under shelter, full exposure will likely accelerate the cracking issue you've experienced.

As this would be considered an engineered stone, I wouldn't recommend any repair where you have to sand or cut the surface due to the risk of silica exposure. Engineered stone benchtops are going through the process of being banned due to the risk of silicosis when machined.

You could potentially try to fill the cracks with white epoxy putty. Make sure not to mix in too much of the grey catalyst, or it will not turn out white. Only smear the product inside the crack and immediately clean up the surrounding surface. I can't see any way to reduce the raised sections, which would also be safe.
