Hi everyone,
I'm looking for some guidance on how to repair the cracks in my concrete driveway and get rid of the weeds growing in the gaps. The cracks vary in size — some are hairline ones, and a few are wider with weeds coming through.
I'd really appreciate any recommendations from the community experts. I'm fairly handy but haven’t done driveway repairs before, so any step-by-step advice would be really helpful.
Thanks in advance! Attached pictures for reference.
Hello @JasonR7
I propose using a pressure washer to clean the surface and cracks of the driveway. the pressure washer will be effective enough to uproot any weeds that are growing in the cracks. For the stubborn ones you'll need to manually remove them. Once the cracks and driveway are totally dry, I suggest using filler rod for the gaps that are at least 5mm and filling the gap with Gripset Betta 1L Concrete Crack Filler. It can be used on the thin cracks as well, make sure to press hard with the Pro Renovator 50mm Plastic Scraper so that the filler positively goes into the fine cracks.
If you need further assistance, please let us now.
