pipe black Rural poly pipe.+ rural "j" joint for tap riser. Leaks from the joint fitting (tried 3 different fittings)
Specifically water squirts from under the screw fitting along the pipe. side. and I have noticed that the male joiner, that fits inside the pipe to the Tap riser is not as tight as other joins are.
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @cheniston. It's marvellous to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about fixing a leak.
As @AlanM52 mentioned, it would be helpful for our members if they could see the fitting you're working with and the leak location. Let me know if you need a hand uploading images.
If three joint fittings are leaking, then the next thing I'd look at would be the pipe and whether it is damaged. Are there any cracks, or is it deformed? Also, any indication why the male joiner is not as tight in the riser as the other fittings?
Please let me know if you have any questions.
