How to fix ripped flexible flashing?

Hi, I have some flexible flashing that is ripped, on an extension roof. Looking for advice on how to fix. I assume some options are 1) tape, 2) add more flashing over it, 3) adhesive outdoor sealant to try and bind the 2 parts back together

See photos. in one of them i bended it apart to show size.

Re: Ripped flexible flashing - how to fix

Hello @dzg

I propose using Selleys 290ml Grey Storm Waterproof Gutter And Roof Sealant in combination with CAgroup 50mm x 3m Weatherproof Byute Flash Flashing Tape to go over the damaged section of the flashing. I suggest putting some Selleys sealant over the damaged section and allowing the silicone to fully cure. Once it has fully cured, I recommend putting a strip of byute flashing tape over the damaged section. Use the round end of a screwdriver handle to push the tape securely onto the surface of the old flashing.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Eric
