Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's marvellous to have you join us, and thank you for sharing your question about installing a doggy door.
In this instance, I suggest engaging the services of a professional glazier in your area. They will have the proper tools and experience to cut the glass and install the doggy door. The glazier will also be able to tell if you have safety glass or ordinary glass on your door. I also suggest using google to find out who is close to your area. I recommend getting at least three quotes and see which one of them provides best value.
