How to install veranda privacy screens?

I have a long veranda area that would love to install some privacy screens to be able to use the area.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, i am considering some wooden slats

Thank you for your advice.

Located in Darwin so the weather can be brutal with the humudity.

Re: How to install veranda privacy screens?

Hello @Makip

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about installing privacy screens.

I propose looking at the SpecRite 1800 x 902mm Pre-Oiled Merbau Alternating Slat Fence Panel. It makes an excellent cover and comes pre-oiled ready to be installed. It can be trimmed down and installed either vertically or horizontally.  The other options are the Matrix panels which are made in Australia from 100% recycled UV stabilised plastic which will not rot, rust or be eaten by insects.

Some of the samples I suggest are the Matrix 1810 x 905mm Jack Slat Screen Panel With Frame, the Jack Matrix 1800 x 1200mm Charcoal Plastic Woven Lattice and the Jack Matrix 1800 x 900 x 6mm Smooth Cream Reeded Square Lattice. These panels have the traditional look and can be cut down to fit the space that you have. They can be installed with a metal frame or screwed onto a timber framing.
