How to order battery for XU1 10 inch cordless chainsaw?

yesterday I went to my local Bunnings store and brought an XU1 10 inch chain saw but I wanted an extra battery

I brought 1 but it was not the right one took it back got a refund but I still want that extra battery

The special orders rang but got no where why is it so hardto get batteries for XU1 tools

I like the tools and the little chain saw is just great for small jobs nice and light

I could have got a 10 chain saw of Ebay for less with 2 batteries

I'm so sorry for the confusion, and do apologise that the batteries in store do not suit the XU1 18v 254mm (10") 1.5Ah Cordless Chainsaw Kit XCSK-0185.

I've contacted XU1, and there is a replacement battery for that saw, but they are on backorder and due to arrive at the end of June. Just before that time, you can speak with our Special Orders team, and they'll be able to place an order for you. Please provide the following item number to them: 300088901034

Bunnings at Burnie rang me and told me. $99

Another chain saw is only $109 and I get a complete saw battery and charger or I can go on EBay and get a 10 inch for under $60 with 2 Batteries and charger

Even a Ryobi is a better deal I will not buy an XU1 anymore

Should you decide to invest in the Ryobi ONE+ system, my best advice is to register your tool to at the Ryobi Product Registration page. I also highly recommend taking a photo of your docket so that you have proof of purchase copy safely stored in your phone.

I tested my XU1 chain saw for the price it did a great job and as the batteries are $99 and the kit is $109 I am going to buy another that way I will have my spare battery
