id be keen to paint these pavers on the back undercover patio. How?
Hi @Katie6025,
A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it's fantastic to have you join us!
For your patio, I’d recommend using the Dulux Concrete and Paving Range. This is a three-step system designed specifically for concrete and paved surfaces. It includes a cleaner, primer, and a topcoat/finish.
Start by giving the bricks a thorough clean with a pressure washer to remove any dirt, dust, or loose material. This will ensure you're working on a clean, well-prepared surface.
Next, you'll want to determine whether the bricks are sealed, as this will guide which cleaning and priming products to use. Dulux has a helpful surface test video on their YouTube channel that walks you through how to check this.
If the surface is sealed, use Dulux Concrete And Paving Sealed Surface Cleaner, followed by Dulux Concrete And Paving Sealed Surface Primer. If the surface is unsealed, use Concrete And Paving Bare Concrete Etch And Clean, followed by Dulux Concrete And Paving Bare Concrete Primer.
Once cleaned and primed, you can apply your choice of finish from the Dulux Concrete & Paving topcoat range. You can explore the full selection on Dulux’s website here - Concrete & Paving Range | Dulux.
Also, this step-by-step guide on How To Paint Concrete Floors is a great reference for seeing the system in action.
Let me know your thoughts, and feel free to reach out with any more questions. I’m here to help!
