Hi,
We used to have a clothes hanger screwed into our rendered wall. The screw holes are about 12mm in diameter.
How would I go about:
1. Patching the external render
2. Achieving the same render texture
3. Painting the parched area (we've been told the paint used was Dulux Snowy Mountains Quarter but was advised to try a darker shade to help blend)
Any advice is appreciated. Thank you
Hi @mahtumbeh,
A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fabulous to have you with us.
I would suggest simply filling the holes to just below the level of the render with Polyfilla Exterior Brick and Render Masonry.
You can then achieve both the texture and colour using Dulux Medium Texture Exterior Paint.
In terms of colour, I would typically suggest going with the same colour, but you would be best to speak with the Paint Expert at your local store to select a suitable colour if you'd like to go with a darker shade. They will have access to colour cards that you can visually check for suitability.
Let me know what you think and if you have further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Hi Jacob,
Thanks for the advice!.
It states the Polyfilla Exterior Brick and Render Masonry is suitable to 10mm depth. If the hole is deeper than that, does that matter?
Also because it's such a small area, would I still need to prime before painting?
Cheers
Hi @mahtumbeh,
For such small patches, you wouldn't really get much benefit from priming.
Just make sure the filler material is completely dry before applying the paint.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

Perfect, thanks I'll give it a try.
