How to remove lawn weeds?

I need help to remove creeper weeds. Driving me crazy. Struggling in this epic battle. Have tried weed and feed for buffalo grass due to having some of this throughout the yard. Grass is healthy. Ducks having a field day also. Creeper weed in the grass and spreading more weed daily. Please help with this project of mine with suggestions in Bunnings weed killer and something to get rid of the ducks. Please help

It sounds like you’ve been putting in a lot of work trying to manage the Creeper tick trefoil and buffalo creeper, and I understand how frustrating that can be. Given that the weeds may be regenerating from remnants left behind after pulling them, I’d suggest switching to a targeted approach by painting herbicide directly onto the weeds. This way, the plants absorb the herbicide and it kills off the roots, providing a more effective solution.

You can use the Zero Weeding Wand, which allows you to apply herbicide directly to the plant without affecting the surrounding grass. This method is much more efficient for persistent weeds like buffalo creeper and creeper tick trefoil. For herbicides, something like Roundup or Zero is effective at controlling these types of weeds.

As for the ducks, unfortunately, there isn’t much that can be done to deter them without impacting the surrounding environment. You might try setting up physical barriers like netting to keep them out of specific areas, or using a motion-activated sprinkler to discourage them from visiting your lawn.

Keep in mind that this type of weed control requires patience, and multiple applications may be needed to fully address the issue.
