The mortar edging (don't know its proper name) is in a bad way and I was wondering what to use that is not too cost effective as I will be needing to do the whole perimeter. Never tackled this before so Iam afraid I will need (hopefully) a detailed reply to help me get the job done right. Have tried Mortfil in a small area but this would cost a fortune to do a whole house.
Hello @spog777
Thanks for sharing your question about the edging of your house perimeter. I suggest having a quick look at this discussion - How to fix exposed rebar on concrete path by @sam152535. As an alternative patch I suggest looking at Dingo 10kg Mortar Mix, there are larger bags available should you need more. The general steps will be to clean the rebar and use rust converter before sealing it off with a mortar patch. The smaller fine cracks can be filled with Mortafil.
