Is there a specific PVC pipe that should be used when repairing underground PVC pipe that runs the main water supply to the house? Ours has a couple of cracks in it and have to repair it. I read that is should have a NSF rating?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @rmjaln. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about repairing pipe work.
Unfortunately, any work on the water supply to your home, including repairs to the main water pipe feeding the house, must be carried out by a licensed plumber. The plumber will also be the one to specify the exact pipe type and rating required for the main line, since this falls under regulated plumbing work and needs to comply with local standards. For that reason, you will need to enlist a licensed plumber to complete the repair for you.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
