how to repaire my front house timber claddings
Hello @daixihong
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your timber cladding.
Can you please tell us if the surface has started to rot. You can inspect the condition of the surface by pushing it with your finger. If it sinks and crumples it will need to be replaced. But if it is still strong then it is only surface discoloration and it can be sanded down and resealed again. You'll need to check every single panel to make sure what their condition is. If over 70% of the wood has rotted, then it would be advisable to replace the entire lot rather than trying to repair it.
I propose looking at the Intergrain 4L Merbau Natural Stain Timber Stain. But if you are after a different coloured stain, I suggest visiting your local store and going to the stain and sealing sample board in the paint department. You'll get to see what the actual stains look like once applied to timber.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.
