How to replace garden taps?

I have three outdoor taps, and they all seem to leak. I am thinking of getting them replaced, but I want ones that are easy to get hose attachments for. Is this something I can just go into Bunnings and ask someone or should I know some pros and cons first?

The most common garden tap outlet size is 20mm, this allows you to install almost all the garden tap adapters at the store. A good example is the Kinetic 20mm Brass Garden Tap and the Kinetic 20mm Brass Female Garden Tap. The only difference is that one is male and the other female, but both of the outlets are at the default 20mm. To put your mind at ease you can grab one of the garden taps in the plumbing department and bring it over to garden fittings/adapters and test it on the tap. You can also bring your own garden tap adapter that you use at home and test it on the garden tap for 100 percent compatibility.
