Re: iding Door Handle

Hello @Minitots101

I suggest looking at the Rolltrak Black Sliding Patio Door Keyed Lock Set. This is a surface mounted lock just like your one and can be installed standard screws. I propose removing your old lock and bringing it with you to the store so that you can match it up with the Rolltrak set. It should be very close in size, if not you'll need to drill new mounting screws for the new lock. I also recommend checking out our Door Lock Installation service at the store.

If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Eric

Re: How to replace sliding door handle?

Hi @Minitots101,

Regarding your question about the door not gliding easily, it would likely be either that the rollers are worn and need replacing or that the door itself is jamming in the frame. It would also be a good idea to check to see if there are any adjustment screws on the edge of the door that might need correction.

Check to see that the timber is not rubbing on the frame anywhere. Also, you'll need to remove the door to check the rollers. If they are damaged or worn down, they need to be replaced. Ensure you get a helper as these doors are quite heavy, and remember that glass can shatter easily when knocked, so take care and wear PPE including safety glasses, cut-resistant gloves, a long-sleeved shirt, trousers and enclosed footwear.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Mitchell

Re: iding Door Handle

Hey Eric,

Indeed I will l look at that one - In fact I just looked at the link you provide and its pretty much identical.

I will remove the old one and bring it in with me to the store and match it as closely as I can.

Once again you come to my rescue💐

Thank You - to a Great Team💐
