I suggest having a quick look at this discussion - How do I fix the winder on my outdoor umbrella? by @janee. There was a general discussion on how the cord could be replaced. Perhaps some of the steps might work for your umbrella.
I have had a bit of a search regarding your Everite umbrella, I'm sorry, but I could not find a manual that shows how the cord could be replaced.
In this instance, I recommend giving the manufacturer a call and see if they have a manual and spare part for your umbrella.
