Hi I’m wondering what I can put across the floor to stop water from going over to the neighbours side of the balcony.
cheers
Hi @andrushkinax,
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. We trust you'll get loads of help and inspiration for all your projects from our wonderful members.
Can you please tell us the source of this water and also perhaps share some wider photos so we have more context?
Thanks,
Jason
From watering the plants.
looking to put something across the tiles under the glass divider.
Hello @andrushkinax
Thank you for sharing that extra photo of your balcony. I propose changing your watering methods to prevent large scale puddling and splashing. I propose adding pot saucers under all your pots and instead of using a large hose, I recommend using a Holman 2L Asphalt Eco Watering Can. When the water reaches the edge of the pot saucers you should stop watering the plant, the saucers also act like an internal reservoir where the plant can drink from. This saves you from watering the plants too much.
Let me call on our experienced members @Noelle and @mich1972 for their recommendations.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Thanks , I’m aware of all that.
i just asked if there is a product I can put along the ground that will stop water passing over.

Hello @andrushkinax
The only barrier that comes to mind are sandbags such as the Brutus 360 x 850mm Sand Bag. Please keep in mind that although the sandbag will stop the water from flowing over the balcony it will get diverted to someplace else, such as the sides of the balcony. Water will find the lowest point of the balcony and escape through there. Please note that sandbags will not provide a 100 percent leak proof barrier.

Head to the special orders desk central to your local Bunnings.
Order a right angled colourbond metal flashing the length of the glass and slightly higher than the opening, with a 25mm 90deg bend at the bottom. Should be no more than about $20.
Ensure the sound is dry and then use silicone to secure the flashing in place. Once dried no water will travel through to your neighbour, problem solved.

Ok great! Thanks for your help Team!!

Good Evening @andrushkinax
My sugestion is the same as @Nailbag's with a little bit different to the end on the outside of the balcony. I would cut the angle on the bend by about 2m and using a pair of pliers bend it in a downward slope. With the length of the right angle a little longer then the balcony I am hopping that the water pools/runs along the bracket and then instead of hugging the patio edge, take a feed over the bend. The piece only needs to be wider then the balcony by that 2cm for the water to curl.
