How to treat Specrite panel for occasional water exposure?

I have a Specrite Acacia Golden panel installed out on our covered deck. Occasinally when it rains hard this panel can get a little wet. Ive given it a light sanding and treated it with Procoat Premium timver oil, a slovent based oil for protecting exteroir timber. Do I need to do anything else?

Hi @rodolsen,

A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.

Considering you've already applied an exterior grade timber oil, you don't really need to do anything else.

I would just keep an eye on it over the next 6-12 months and recoat it if it starts to absorb water instead of repelling it.

Keeping up the oil will keep your timber panel looking beatiful for years to come.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Jacob
