How to update a roof without replacing it?

Can anyone guide us whether we can remove this part from the roof, rather than replacing the whole roof.

Unfortunately, as roofs form part of the essential structure of your property, this is not something we would be able to assist you with.

I'd suggest having a licensed builder or engineer inspect the roof for you. They will be able to guide you as to whether you can remove the gable end without negatively impacting the rest of the roof.
