Have had a 2.8x6.8 patio roof installed with own guttering and one downpipe.
The downpipe is over a garden bed which is narrow and close to the property boundary.
Is Agi pipe the best solution?
Keen for ideas and advice.

Agline is typically used to collect water from a garden area and transport it to your stormwater lines. The best solution is to have your downpipe connected directly to the stormwater. Do you know if there is one in the vicinity?
Were you thinking of connecting the downpipe to the agline so it then distributes the water along the garden bed? If so, that sounds like a good idea, but if it is buried, the water might back up and block the gutters.

You might have to employ the services of a plumber to connect your downpipe to a suitable waste pipe, such as stormwater. Your house plans should show where the pipes run, but you could presume a pipe will need to run from this location back to the closest downpipe on your house. You could consider discharging into the garden bed, but I presume that will cause issues in a downpour. Unfortunately, with a patio roof of that size, consideration really needs to be given as to where the amount of water that falls on the roof will be channelled. I can't really see any other option than having the downpipe hard-plumbed. However, a professional would likely be able to provide you with all available options that comply with code.
