We have done a makeover on the existing outdoor BBQ area. I tiled the wooden top, built a frame so I could enclose it using cement sheeting which I then painted white and added some trim.
That's an absolutely stunning transformation, @Penwah! You've managed to add a sleek, modern finish to your outdoor BBQ area with that gorgeous coat of paint and impeccable tiling and woodwork. Are you able to provide more details of the tools and materials you used? What was the toughest part of this project?
I also wanted to extend a huge welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. You'll find it's a great place for sharing and exchanging D.I.Y tips and ideas. Projects like yours may sometimes get featured in articles like Barbecue stands and bench ideas, which you can find in our Top Ideas section. Please do let me know if you need a hand in getting the most out of the site.
Great work once again, and looking forward to your next project.
Lovely work @Penwah.
Many thanks for sharing, and well done.
You've provided such detailed information that will be a great help to our community members.
We are interested in turning your project into a Featured Project article. Do you have any more pictures you could share?
It would also be great if you could share any other tips or lessons learned during your project that would assist others interested in doing a makeover in their outdoor BBQ area.
