Refurbished outdoor table set

Decided to give new life to this outdoor table set with a fresh coat of blue paint.  Bought the table set second hand about 6 years ago and it's been sitting in the garden ever since.  Haven't done anything to the metal legs yet - what do you think?

Materials

$7 tub of blue paint mixed at Bunnings

Tools

Sander

Paint brush

PPE

Steps

Step 1

20240104_121111.jpgCleaned and brushed down the table set.

Step 2

Used an electric sander over the wood.

Step 3

Gave the first coat of paint.

Step 4

Waited one day, and then went over with a second coat.

Step 5

Enjoy a coffee in the garden!

Good   job @Anthony7

Nice pop of  color in your  garden.

Spray paint your chair  legs with epoxy paint

Or  a more rust resistant  paint like

Dy-Mark 400g Black Zinc Spray Paint

$13.86

Love to  see  final  result.

Re: Refurbished outdoor table set

Hi @Anthony7

Thanks for sharing your refurbished outdoor table set. It looks fantastic, in regards to the metal legs, I suggest using White Knight Rust Guard 400g Cold Gal Spray Paint if you want to keep the dark colour of the steel.

My best advice is to cover and mask the timber pieces before spraying the cold gal.

If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.
