Side yard - Landscaping project

The side yard has been a labour of love but here are some progress shots. Getting close to finishing.

Re: Side Yard - Landscaping

Hello @Chaks_DIY

That is amazing work. My only suggestion to complete the look is to build a fake fence cover for your hot water cylinder.

Cheers!

Re: Side Yard - Landscaping

Hi @redracer01

Thanks for the advice. It is definitely the remaining eye sore and I have one of these ready to go for exactly that! https://www.bunnings.com.au/specrite-1800-x-600-x-33mm-merbau-garden-fence-panel_p8500298.

I am planning on using some steel brackets and fixing it to the adjacent wall but I'm yet to try drilling into masonry (apprehensive mostly!) so once i get my head around that, I will put it up

Cheers again and thank you for the feedback.

Re: Side Yard - Landscaping

This looks so good! Can I ask what material/product you used for the edging?

Re: Side Yard - Landscaping

Hi @LizRae

Thank you for that. I used,

https://www.bunnings.com.au/specrite-69-x-7mm-x-5-7m-finger-jointed-kiln-dried-merbau-edging_p006427...

And

https://www.bunnings.com.au/whites-270-x-20-x-3mm-garden-edging-peg_p3321370

The edging was quite cost effective too.

Cheers

Re: Side Yard - Landscaping

Thank you @Chaks_DIY ! It looks like the wood edging isn't available in WA, hopefully I'll be able to find a good substitute as I love the look you have achieved.
