Small hole made in eave for air con drain pipe - how to seal?

D6B1A88F-9129-4988-B8E7-7CAE18CBDF21.jpeg

Hi as per title the installers for my split system air con forgot to seal up this hole made for the drain pipe to go through the eave, so there is some area open around the pipe

Whats the best way to fill the hole? I’m not sure silicone sealant will do the job adequately

thanks

If they forgot to do it then the best way is to call them and politely ask them to come back and finish the job. These things happen, and it should be a super quick job for them.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @marco_k9. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about sealing a hole.

I can't imagine why an exterior silicone sealant wouldn't fill that hole adequately for you. However, if you want something more robust, I suggest you use Sikaflex 11FC, a polyurethane sealant typically considered the next step up from silicone.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
