Spa and Cedar gazebo rebuild

20220720_111047.jpg

A complete 3 day make over, the spa was working but filthy, the gazebo very water, hail, weather damaged.
We had to reframe all the base boards on the gazebo to pull back into shape, Additional slated pieces of cedar was purchased from bunnings to make up the missing door panel. The origin al laserlite roof was broken from hail and we couldn't get another to fit so we used 2 x laserlite panels overlapping to make it wide enough. We built a raised wood panel in the middle to allow rain runoff.

Once it was all secured and rebuilt, we added a latch to make it child safe (and compliant), then pressure washed everything. Using exterior paint in a warm wood brown, we applied it with the Ozito spray gun on the timber using a paint trim guide to protect the windows, then a dark green floor paint to finish the concrete pad.20220701_114408.jpg20220709_154734.jpg20220709_154803.jpg20220709_162406.jpg20220720_110017.jpg20220720_110041.jpg20220720_111048.jpg20220720_111052.jpg20220720_130254.jpg20220720_140042.jpg20220720_140046.jpgGazebo.jpg

Looks great @LesleyMitch, well done. I can just imagine how relaxing it would be to have a long, hot soak in there after a busy week. Enjoy.
