The old patio was out of date and tired, we ripped it down and built an amazing sunroom which gets a lot more use. As for the bath, it's a table by day and a bath under the stars by night or visa versa.

140mm Merbau decking, 90x90 treated posts, concrete stumps, ant caps, villa board cladding, treated pine mouldings, 280mm pergola timbers, gyprock plasterboard, hardy tile underlay, 1800x900 Merbau screens, treated pine bearers and joists for deck sub floor. 3000 Otter stainless decking screws. 200 Titan Bugle 75m batton screws, 200 Titan 100m batton screws, 2000 Paslode framing nails. Dulux exterior lie sheen-white, Dulux weathersheild-Woodland grey. Earthwool insulation for ceiling and walls. Cabot's Merbau decking oil and applicator set
The table is made up with black aluminium pool fence panel and sheet of 10mm marine ply with 7 coats of Dulux weathersheild black
Glazed garden pots and Berger 4 seasons passion blue paint for other pots and fridge.
All Ryobi tools used-drill driver, impact driver, circular saw, reciprocating saw, angle grinder, multitool, hole auger, jigsaw, tile cutter. Drop saw. Hammer drill
Step 1, partly demolish existing veranda, demolish and remove old decking and lazerlight roof.2. Put in concrete stumps, bearers and joists. 3.Cut and fit new decking boards. 4.Frame old veranda into new sunroom, fit sliding aluminium door and 3 windows. 5.Have a registered electrician as required.
6.Clad external walls and eaves, colour bond roof, 7.have plumber install hot and cold water for the bath.
8.Apply plaster sheets to ceiling and walls.
Lay tile underlay and tiles.9. Paint exterior interior walls and ceiling.
10.Install glass balustrade. 11.Registered plumber installed bath.
Once this deck sunroom was complete, a new decked area in the back corner of the garden was built catching the late afternoon sun. Just waiting for the ornamental grape vines to grow.
