Hello Community
I have recently moved to new place and looking to secure the boundary with fencing and gate. Don’t know where to start to atleast get a Aluminium fencing.
Pls share resources or options to get it started. Have attached images for reference…
Hello @ra9kal
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about fencing.
Congratulations on the new place! Securing your boundary is definitely a smart move early on. Since you're looking into aluminium fencing but aren’t sure where to start, the first thing you'll want to do is confirm your exact boundary lines. For that, it's best to speak to a licensed surveyor — they’re the right professional to mark out your legal property boundary. While engineers or draftspersons can help with design and construction planning, they don’t typically handle boundary definitions.
Once you know where the fence should go, you’ll have a few options to consider. One option for aluminium fencing is the ProtectorAl Black Aluminium Flat Top Pool Fence Panel, which are lightweight and are suited for low-traffic or pool-style applications. If you're after something stronger, Colorbond fencing is a solid, long-lasting choice with low maintenance, and it’s available in various colours and heights through Bunnings Special Orders.
Standard timber fencing is still a classic choice if you want a bit more privacy and a natural look. Brick fencing is very secure and long-term but also the most expensive and labour-intensive. You might want to explore Colorbond or timber if you're after more durability but definitely check with your local Bunnings as product availability can vary by location.

Good Evening @ra9kal
Congratulations on your new place!
Definently having a nice fence to show the edge of your block would be nice, and @EricL 's surveyors suggestion is the way to go to know your exact boundary.
Now when you say "secure" your boundary, are you refering to secure like fort knox or secure as in show the edge of your block?
If its secure the edge of your block then id throw my vote in for a white picket styled fenceline, I like the old school and softening look it gives. You could also use some gabion stayled baskets to create end points and maybe also build in a letter box to the gabion wall
A note of caution on digging fence posts in, thats a Telstra pit for phones/interenet where you have highlighted in blue, you really dont want to dig up your streets ph line Dial before you dig should help you out in determining it out tho. Before you dig (new name by the look of it ) see Before You Dig Australia for an explanation.
