hi all
We're using repurposed concrete chunks to crazy pave a pathway - these are around 6-7cm thick. What product would be the best infill to put between them to lock them together?
Hello @Smoucha
Covering the uncured mortar with builder's plastic is a good idea. It will do two things and that is to protect it from rainwater, and it will slow down the curing rate which theoretically makes the mortar cure without cracks making it stronger. As for the cobble stones, I can only suggest trying to adjust the spacing, but if that does not work then you will not have any choice but to cut the cobble stone. In regards to the edge support, I suggest using mortar and haunching the edge, but not so much that it can be seen from the top. Your goal is to provide support to the edge to prevent it from moving or shifting.
