Have a surface level garden bed at our townhouse unit. Next to back patio. I'm wanting to replace it with a raised garden bed.
After removing the existing plants, I noticed what looks like some sort of termite treatment node? There are two other existing bait stations around the unit, but this one looks a lot different. Others are black, more square, flat lid and literally say termite bait station on top. Maybe this one was for underslab treatment?
I have attached photo. The outer circle just looks like it is there so it is easily seen on the surface, it's only 2cm deep, it's the inner circle which goes down into the ground. Took the inner circle cap off and there is just dirt inside?
Anyway, wondering how I should proceed as the raised garden bed I built will lay straight over the top of it. Will I need to extend this pipe up? Just cover it? If it is a soil treatment is that gonna mean edibles in it will be a no go?
Thanks
