What stores have Mimosa gazebo on display?

Hi,

I have noticed that team member JacobZ said in a recent post concerning the Mimosa 3m x 3m Lava Portsea Louvre Semi Permanent Gazebo, that he had built up a number of these units for in-store displays at Bunnings.   

Before I buy one, I am attempting view a 3m x 4m gazebo unit (in-person) at a store somewhere, but since these are a Special Order only item, it seems there is no display stock.     I have searched the Bunnings website does not list any stores in the Sydney area that would have any display stock of this or the 3m x 3m unit.   There is only so much that can be researched from the website.

I tried contacting one of my local stores, but they were not able to determine this either and the person I spoke with noted that because they are a Special Order only item, that no store was likely waste the money on or use up valuable space to assemble one for a display.    The team member suggested that it might be easier to view a similar product at one of your competitor's stores and base my decision on that.  Hmmmm.

I have also viewed several reviews on your website and most are giving it great praise, but one stated that it failed after 11 months and that Bunnings won't give a refund or replacement.   As it is intended to be used in a coastal location I would like to see and try out for myself. 

Is JacobZ able to advise where an assembled display unit of one of the variations of this gazebo unit could be viewed in the Sydney area (prior to forking out over three grand)?

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.

I've just confirmed with our Alexandria warehouse that they have a Mimosa 3 x 4m Lava Portsea Louvre Semi Permanent Gazebo on display.

Hopefully, it is close enough for you to make a trip.

I can do the drive over to Alexandria to look at it.   Smithfield and Villawood are my local stores but that's still OK to see it in the flesh.

There are a few other stores showing that they have 1 in stock, which often means they have a display. If you can give me half an hour or so, I can make some calls and see if there is one closer to you.

The team at Bonnyrigg have told me that they have one on display. It looks like this would be a closer alternative.
