20 kitchens transformed with paint

Painting your cabinetry, benchtop and tiling is an affordable way to give your kitchen a dramatic makeover without the expense of a major renovation.

 

Get inspiration from the following Bunnings Workshop community members who found it easy to transform their kitchens with paint.

 

1. Kitchen cabinet makeover using paint sprayer by @nicoleherrick 

 

Using the Dulux Renovations Range and an Ozito paint sprayer, Nicole transformed her rental property's kitchen for just a few hundred dollars.

2. Painted kitchen cabinets by @Aaina 

 

Dulux Renovation Range paint used to revamp a kitchen island and cabinets in just three days for $270.

3. Marble-look benchtop using paint by @raceytrace 

 

A marble-style benchtop created using a feather, foam brushes, sponges and paint. Tracey also refreshed the splashback using paint.

4. Bright coastal kitchen makeover on a budget by @Aleishacorr 

 

As part of a budget makeover of a dated kitchen, Aleisha painted all cupboards using White Knight Tile & Laminate Paint in Cotton Ball.

5. Kitchen refresh using paint and bleached floor by @dorabulldog 

 

This makeover created a much brighter and more functional kitchen while retaining the existing cabinetry and parquetry flooring.

6. Budget Bunnings kitchen transformation by @daniknight4 

 

Painting the tiles and cabinetry, plus adding a new sink and Merbau timber benches, helped transform an outdated kitchen into a bright new space.

Shirl created a marble-like effect on the counter tops using Giani Standard Paint Kit White Diamond before using the Dulux Renovation Range on the kitchen cabinetry.

8. Kitchen makeover with VJ panelling and paint by @maddisoneblack 

 

Maddison gave the kitchen a much-needed facelift by painting the cupboards with the Dulux Renovation Range and adding Easycraft VJ panels to the bench.

11. Cosmetic kitchen reno by @diy_hausdesigns 

 

Rufaro brightened his beige and brown kitchen by painting his tiled splashback and cupboards a brilliant white and switching the handles to a sleek brushed gold.

12. Kitchen refresh using White Knight Renew by @NikkiMaree 

 

Using a few cans of White Knight Tile and Laminate paint, Nikki painted timber-look laminate cabinets, utility panels and subway tiles to transform her kitchen.

13. 80s kitchen budget renovation by @ProjectPete 

 

By removing the cabinetry doors and drawers and painting them a clean white, Pete was able to stay on budget for this 80s kitchen makeover.

14. Bathroom, laundry and kitchen budget refresh by @RohanH 

 

With a strict budget of just $10,000 to update a classic Victorian single-fronted home's kitchen, bathroom and laundry, structural changes needed to be kept to an absolute minimum. Rohan painted his 80s kitchen cabinetry, benchtop and tiles using White Knight Tile and Laminate Paint without any previous paint or D.I.Y. experience.

15. 70s kitchen refresh by @MsChezzyG 

 

A tiled splashback went from a loud 70s pattern to fresh white in one weekend using White Knight Tile and Laminate paint, while the  laminated cupboards were transformed in Viking Blue.

This kitchen was transformed with freshly painted cabinets using the Dulux Renovation Range and a new rangehood, rangetop, benchtop, sink and dishwasher.

Tired of his beige kitchen, Raymond painted his benchtop, tiled splashback and cabinetry, and replaced the rangehood and cupboard handles for a brighter, more modern look.

19. Small kitchen upgrade by @newbie23 

 

With cabinetry in good condition, this kitchen made an excellent candidate for rejuvenation using the Dulux Renovation Range and was revamped with the colour Niche.
