10 ways to decorate a wall

You don't need to spend a lot of money on decorating to make a stylish and comfortable home. 

 

Bunnings Workshop members are incredibly creative when it comes to hanging things on their walls for decoration and practicality. Here are great ideas from our members that you can borrow for your own home.

 

1. Wall mounted entertainment unit by @eriktank 

 

Bunnings Workshop member Erik made this attractive timber entertainment unit by reusing the glass shelf from an old TV cabinet.

2. Wall mounted wine rack by @LePallet 

 

Prolific Workshop member and pallet timber maestro Rylie made this striking wine rack using recycled materials.

3. Toilet roll holder shelf by @Rodney 

 

Much admired by the Bunnings Workshop community, Rodney's streamlined shelf looks fantastic and makes great use of space.

4. Artificial plant wall feature by @Nikkaz 

 

Using Un-Real artificial greenery, Nicole created a beautiful wall feature for an otherwise boring brick wall at the front of the house.

5. Easy D.I.Y. wall hanging by @sandy_d 

 

Workshop member Sandy shared step-by-step instructions with the community for this attractive wall hanging with a painted mountaintop design.

6. Illuminated wall feature using upcycled pallets by @sandoorus 

 

By creatively utilising recycled pallet timber, Workshop member sandoorus made a feature of a previously bare entrance hallway.

7. Hanging upholstered bedhead by @annatr 

 

Anna made a custom upholstered bedhead to hang above power points using plywood, medium-density foam and a layer of batting, calico and velvet fabric.

8. Updated bag and shoe organiser by @Tara86 

 

Oak shelves were used to create a neat and stylish entryway storage solution for Tara's family.

9. D.I.Y. Kitchen notice board by @AnitaH25 

 

This simple notice board by Anita utilises scrap plywood and can be a great way to share shopping and to-do lists or messages with family.

As part of their whole-of-house renovation project, Bunnings Workshop members Lauren and Sarah made this stylish and practical hat rack to keep their hallway tidy.
