Structural changes were kept to a minimum to reduce cost
Rohan kept structural changes to a minimum when tackling a renovation of his single fronted Victorian home. He received lots of inspiration and advice along the way from @ProjectPete and @redracer01 about how to make the most of limited space before unveiling the fantastic end result.
Darren’s diary of his bathroom renovation is an entertaining and informative account of his renovation journey, taking us through the comprehensive transformation of a traditional 1950s-era bathroom into a modern oasis that is wonderful for relaxing and a beautiful and functional space.
Who would have thought you could turn toilet paper storage into a work of art? This creative and striking feature enlivens the smallest room in the house and has been much admired by many Workshop members and visitors alike.
Completed in just three days, this guest bathroom renovation included new wall tiles, vanity, tapware and glass panel for the shower, while the ensuite was also greatly enhanced with a new vanity and splashback.
A comprehensive renovation was needed for this dated bathroom which had an awkward layout, no toilet and an unused bath. With a little help from the community and appropriate trades, this D.I.Y. project achieved dazzling results.
