Experienced renovator Belinda Smith transformed a tired weatherboard into an absolutely gorgeous cottage that sold after the very first inspection. Belinda typically sets a renovation budget of 10% of the purchase price, spending the money where it reaps the most return – kitchens, bathrooms and front gardens.
The 70s-era kitchen that my wife and I inherited when we purchased our house would be typical of many Australian homes. It deserved the sledgehammer.
