Steps
Step 1
We asked the handyman if he could cut some of the leftover architrave to make a box.

Step 2

- 2 mm holes for nails
- 3mm holes for screws
- 8mm for countersink for dowel
Step 3

Jack traced around the shape of box onto plywood, for the base. He marked where the holes should be drilled for the screws, dowel and nails.
Step 4

Once the materials were prepared Jack laid all the materials out in position with the tools, ready to start.
Step 5
Jack put a few screws in to hold the sides together. He squeezed wood glue into the holes and put 8mm dowel into them and banged them with a hammer. This was to cover up the screws and create a nice smooth finish.

Step 6
Jack chose a salmon pink to paint the new box.
