Can you tint white paint to gloss black?

I was wondering if I have purchased a water based paint in white from bunnings, can I have it tinted to a gloss black.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's awesome to have you join us, and thank you for sharing your question about tinting paint.

It is possible to tint white paint into a dark black colour. However, I suggest bringing your can of paint back to the store and exchanging it for paint that is already tinted in black. If have not used any of the paint you can still exchange it at the store. Please keep in mind that the finish on the paint is tagged on the outside of the can so make sure you grab one that says gloss finish.
