DIY wainscotting project using Pine moulding

Love what an easy project this is, have been slowly doing my hallway, all you need is:

- pine moulding

- liquid nails

- no gaps white filler

- paint

- mitre saw

- measure and mark wall

Love how much it’s transformed a plain white wall into something Hamptons inspired 💙

Re: DIY Wainscotting Project

Hello @sarahjane22

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's fantastic to have you join us, and thank you for sharing your wainscotting project with us.

When wainscotting was first used, it was for practical purposes. It provided insulation and secured any dampness that might come through the brick walls. Eventually, it was used as a decorative technique, adding detail and sophistication to a room.

Your wainscotting looks marvellous and it definitely adds decorative style to the wall. It's one of the easiest ways to add a feature to what would otherwise be a very flat wall. Thank you for posting those before and after shots, I'm sure our members will appreciate the information you've shared about your project.

Again, thank you for sharing your beautiful wainscotting project.

Eric
