Hello @Nettief
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your aluminium window frames.
If the paint or colour tint on your window frames are fading, I can only suggest re-painting them to restore the dark colour. The general steps are to clean the surface of the aluminium frame. You then remove all the dirt and debris off the channels of the frame and mask the glass surface to prevent overpainting. A primer is then used on the surface and then a topcoat applied. Please note that working around glass can be dangerous an accidental hit with a tool or when too much force is applied can make the glass crack and shatter causing injury. Please make sure to wear personal protection such as gloves, goggles and mask.

Hi Eric,
So other than painting the window frames - there isnt a product I can use to bring them back to a gloss look. I saw on the web a product called Everbrite
thanks Net
Hello @Nettief
I'm sorry, but I am not familiar with the Everbite product. You could in theory use a gloss clear coat on the window frame, but it would not restore the dark finish of the frame. Painting it a dark colour would be the only option to restore the dark finish of the frame.
