Ive tried using all my muscles and still couldnt ge this gutter clip back on
Is there any type of trick to doing it?
Hi @PatDIY_Dad
I propose using a Craftright 250mm Multi Grip Plier to open up the folded lip of the gutter just enough to slide the gutter clip back inside. Once the clip is back inside the lip use the multi grip to fold the lip back into place to secure the clip.
Let me call on our experienced members @Dave-1 and @Nailbag for their recommendations.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Hi @PatDIY_Dad
Unfortunately you need to manipulate and unhook most of all the gutter hooks so that the guttering is almost all off the underside clip and hanging off their clips. Then reposition that clip into place and reposition the entire guttering.
Otherwise, for that single clip, I would use bull-nosed pliers to simply bend it down and in as best as possible. That one clip will have little impact on the guttering.

Good Evening @PatDIY_Dad
@Nailbag has pretty much taken the words from my mouth
And also the solution.
Only thing I can add is to wear gloves, I always manage to cut myself on something when I have been mucking around with gutters ![]()

Hi @PatDIY_Dad
Gloves is a good tip by @Dave-1
Watch this video from 25min. This shows how to rehang.
When prying out the guttering, it's best to have a helper as it gets heavy quick. Have that person at one end. but hopefully you can leave the ends of the guttering in place and there is enough length to twist the gutter about.

Hey @Nailbag,
Thanks heaps for your input in this discussion. Much appreciated.
I think you might have forgotten the link to the video you are mentioning.
