Hi, I have sheers on metal tracks. The little wheels are getting caught in it and keep jamming while closing and opening.
Can I get something to join the tracks and fill the gaps? Any hardware I can buy?
Hello @MagE
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your curtain rail/runner.
If these tracks are newly installed, they would still be under warranty. I propose calling the installer and having them rectify the gap between the rails.
However, if it is no longer under warranty, I propose investigating how the rails are installed on your ceiling. When the screws are loosened can the rail be shifted? Will it allow you to move the rail forwards or backwards? Is there a part between the rails that is creating that gap? If the screws holding the gap can be removed and the rail uninstalled can the gap spacer be removed? Your goal in your investigation is to see if the rails can be joined together or if the rail can be modified in such a way that it removes the gap and brings the rails together. I'm currently unaware of a rail piece that can fill the gap in your rails.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
