How to colour match door paint?

Hi,

My builder isn't responding to the my queries. The door color is white and I need do to a bit of touch up. How do I identify the which white is it? There are plenty of white shades.

Is there a standard color for doors? How do I ensure I get the same color?

Hi @tarun1arora,

You are correct, and there are hundreds of shades of white. You can either remove paint from the door, at least the size of a 10-cent piece and take it to your nearest Bunnings store for a colour match. Or, you can go to the store, pick up several similar white colour cards, and then return home and place them on the door to find the closest match.

Unfortunately, there isn't a particular white colour used only on doors.
