Re: looking for a product to fill these wall chase

Hi @antrix_bansal,

You can fill the chase with Gyprock CSR 4.5kg Less Mess Multi-Purpose Joint Compound.

Fill the chase to just below the surface of the wall and then allow it to dry.

You should then put Fibreglass Builders Joint Tape over the chase so that it overlaps the wall on each side, then apply another coat of joint compound to conceal it.

Once dry, sand it smooth then prime and paint.

Let me know what you think and if you have further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Hey @JacobZ came across this post in a search as I am about to fill some chasing in my kitchen wall. Can you recommend a primer to use before painting?
cheers

Re: looking for a product to fill these wall chase

Hello @crisis

I suggest using Dulux 1Step Prep Primer, Sealer & Undercoat 4L. It works on most surfaces including brick, masonry, paper-faced plasterboard, timber, MDF, render, concrete, cement sheet, galvanised iron, Zincalume steel, PVC and previously painted surfaces.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.
