How to fix peeling paint from sliding doors?

Hi everyone  just wanted some help. How to fix  or paint.  Or what should I use  to fix  peeling paint from sliding doors   any help will be appreciated  and thanks  in advance 😊

Hi @raheem_anwari,

 

The areas where the paint has been damaged are likely where the sliding door is making contact with the lower track; it has scraped the paint away. You could spray some black spray paint into its cap and apply it with a fine brush to touch up the areas. However, the door might require an adjustment to its height to ensure it is not contacting these areas. There is typically an adjustment screw on the end of the door down low that allows you to raise the door. Look for a hole with a screw inside. Adjusting the height of the door ensures that only the rollers are contacting the track and that the bottom of the door is not scraping on it.

 

As a temporary solution, you could colour the damage with a black marker to make the area look a bit better.
