Hey guys!
recently I have been renovating, getting ready to paint. I have patched up some holes in the wall in the living room, but it seems to have raised and you can visibly see where I have patched. I have tried sanding it as much as possible but I’m not happy with the result.
Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated! I have attached a photo!
Hello @Caitlin243
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your wall patches.
I suggest using a Paint Partner Cork Sanding Block - 2 Pack in partner with a 180grit sandpaper to lower the height of your patches. Using the surface of your hand to sand the surface of your repair patches is not very effective and will not produce a flat finish. Using a sanding block provides a flat surface and will even out the patch effectively. Please remember to finish the surface with a 240grit sandpaper so that the surface will be smooth.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
