How to fix tiled roof leak from inside?

Hi I just discover a water leak after a light rain of couple of hours. My roof is tiled and leak appears near the crown. A time just under the crown tile has a cavity accumulated puddle of rain water and has been dripping on to the wood stud under it as seen in pictures. I checked the similar cavities adjacent to the water filled one but all are dry just one has water accumulation. Please advise any DIY solution.

Any repair from under the roof will be hard as the water is already inside your house plugging the underside of the tile will stop the water until the dammed-up repair fills up and overflows to a new under tile spot. but if you want try some Storm silicon. Fill those gaps around the tile edges from underneath,

But the best way is to seal the external tiles I am sure there is gaps between the pointing (rubber/cement) looking stuff and the tiles.

When this separates the water can be re directed in under the tiles.

Normally a roof repairer will take away the broken pointing and replace it with fresh Pointing in different roofing colours

I wear a roof harness up there if you are uncomfortable up high time to call in a handyman service.

It sounds like the pointing on your tiled roof may be compromised, which is allowing water to leak in. The first step would be to remove the crown tile and reapply the pointing to seal the area properly. Since the leak seems to be minimal, you might be able to perform an adequate repair by sealing the existing pointing with caulking from the outside. While this could be attempted from inside the cavity, it's always best to address roof leaks from the outside for a more effective and long-lasting solution.

If you're not comfortable or confident about getting onto the roof, I would recommend hiring a professional roofer to carry out the work for you. They can ensure the job is done safely and properly.
