How to garden indoors

A fun way to keep gardening even when its wet and cold outside.

INGREDIENTS: tarps on the laundry bench and floor. Potting mix, charcoal (always keep it wet to avoid breathing the dust), gravel or tiny gemstones, your second  best china, tiny bottle babies, ferns or succulents.

METHOD: Choose your cup or bowl to suit the plant. put in a good layer of wet charcoal, cover the bottom of the cup about 1 - 2 centimetres. Sprinkle a thin layer of potting mix over the charcoal. Place the plant with ALL the roots and root-ball in the centre of the cup. Backfill carefully with more potting mix. Press down gently to ensure close contact between roots and their new home. Water carefully. Cover potting mix with fine gravel or tiny polished gemstones,  Eh voila. How pretty, on a shelf where it will catch the sun part of the day.
