I am wanting to hang up a cat hammock. Will these screw in hooks be strong enough to hold an average sized cat?

I suggest you at least increase the size to an Everhang 70 x 4.8mm Zinc Plated Square Hook. The hook is slightly larger and will penetrate the timber further. The hook you've selected is really only designed to hold a cup. To ensure the hook is adequate for the job, I'd recommend using a Everhang 26 x 6.2mm Zinc Plated Round Screw Hook. Remember, these hooks must be fixed into a timber stud, not just the plasterboard.
