hi guys I really need some help. I have always use Dulux to paint with. I’ve never had an issue. I have purchased a new range which I’ll screenshot and post on here. I’m having the worst time with it. I can’t get it for roll stick it’s not going on the surface at all. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Me1980. It's fantastic to have you join us, and many thanks for your question on ceiling paint.
I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with it.
Can you tell us where you’re painting? If it’s in the kitchen, the ceiling could have a build-up of oil or grease, which can definitely stop paint from sticking. Have you cleaned the ceiling with something like SugarSoap before starting? Properly cleaning the surface is really important, especially in areas prone to grease, as it helps the paint adhere properly.
If this is a bathroom or another part of the house, and the surface has been cleaned, then it’s a bit puzzling why the paint isn’t sticking. Make sure the paint has been stirred well, too, especially if it’s been sitting for a while.
If it still isn’t going on properly, I’d suggest heading back to the store and speaking with a paint expert. They can check the paint for you and, if needed, swap it for another brand.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

hi Mitch washed it always sugar soap and I’m prepped it. I know all the drill like that. I’ve painted heaps of times and says I’ve never used this Dulux range. I was just wondering if there was an issue or something like that or anyone else experienced this technical issue I have rang and spoken to deluxe and Bunnings and we’re going to try a new batch of to see if this fixes it
Hi @Me1980,
